Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, Glendora Country Club presents a panorama of rolling fairways and lush greens skirted by sand bunkers and water hazards. The course was redesigned by the firm of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1967 creating a challenge that is enjoyed by scratch golfers as well as higher handicap golfers.
The Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course encompasses 113 acres, graced with a diverse urban forest, undulating terrain, beautiful water features, and some of the finest greens found anywhere. Offering a variety of tees to accommodate everyone from beginners, juniors, and seniors to casual enthusiasts, low handicappers and golf professionals, Glendora’s course is enjoyable and challenging for players of any skill level.
Numerous charity outings and tournaments are hosted at Glendora each year, including one of Southern California’s premier amateur events, the annual "Pride of the Foothills Invitational.” Many tournament planners have found that holding their event at a premiere, private facility such as Glendora, increases participation by golfers who otherwise don’t have access to the course. Once here, the event organizers and player enjoy first class service and amenities, with personalized attention to their every need. Large golf events are generally held on Mondays when the Club is normally closed providing the tournament exclusive access to the practice facilities, golf course, clubhouse and locker rooms.
